Brief Biography

I am from Hong Kong. I came to the USA in 1974 to attend Utah State University. In 1979, I graduated from the University of Utah with a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering. The following year I accepted a job offer from Dr. George Cassiday of the University of Utah's Physics Department.

While attending the University of Utah, I met Ming, who was pursuing a Social Work degree. We got married in 1982. The following year, Mindy and Phebe were born. They are always my joy and motivation.

I love sports, exercises, good movies, and the internet.

The loss of my dear father on June 3, 2006 harshly changed me and I decided to retire on July 1, 2007 to explore other paths in life.
